Penal Law

Penal Law is a legal discipline that mainly determines which of the human-beings’ unfair acts shall be identified as a crime, under what conditions shall such acts cause a crime, and what shall be the sanctions in case such criminal acts are committed. To state briefly, Penal Law addresses the criminal acts and the sanctions to those acts.

PURPOSE OF PENAL LAW
The main task of the State is to establish and to maintain a legal structure. The State performs that task by the means of the legal rules it imposed. The aim of all the legal codes is to organize the relations between the human-beings, and to provide a peaceful and prosperous life for the society. Similar to the other legal disciplines, the purpose of the Penal Law is to contribute to that general purpose with its own tools.
